Amongst the Sunset Flowers

Softly falls the evening light - breezed images her inner eye
to play their nimble sounds amongst the sunset flowers.
Blending dream and fantasy.
While life - in complexity - wounded - cut away.

The lens within revealed a vital soul yet bound by human frame.
She sees his limbs no more abased or time-weighed by reality.
Seductive visions - the sweetest touch -
her lover.

Swiftly comes the dreamer’s view amongst the sunset flowers.
His desire - burning
gently surrendering -

to her touch.
